Christina Pérez is a freelance writer and multi-platform editor who covers travel, style, interiors, food, and lifestyle. She specializes in brand consulting, trend forecasting, creative direction, styling, and special editorial projects while also contributing regularly to Vogue in addition to Condé Nast Traveler, Departures, InStyle, Fashionista, Elle, and more. Pérez was the founding editor of The Outfit by People StyleWatch and has her own travel website, Inside Elsewhere.
Prior to her freelance life, Pérez was Fashion Development Editor at Glamour where she spearheaded the magazine's designer collaborations and multi-platform special projects. She oversaw the redesign and content direction of Glamour's Folio Award-winning Tumblr, and helped launch the magazine's pop-up eCommerce project, Shop Glamour. While at Glamour, Pérez appeared regularly as a style expert on TV segments and in videos (including as the host of the fashion week street style web series Tricks of the Trends), in addition to writing fashion and beauty stories for the magazine and website.
Previously Glamour, Pérez was the Editor of PopSugar's acclaimed fashion news website Fashionologie, where she covered breaking style news from New York to Paris, managed the site's editorial direction, and grew the site's monthly page views to over a million. Before that, she held editing posts at Yoox and Lucky.
Pérez attended the Fashion Institute of Technology and the New School for General Studies. She currently resides in Brooklyn with her Pomeranian, Bjorn.
